It's A Girl!!

Yesterday we went in for our ultrasound and found out we are adding a little girl to our family. Kaden was with us when we found out and couldn't be more excited. When the technician said it was a girl Kaden's remark was "YES!". He's pretty excited to be a big brother. Kelsie, Zack and I were also especially excited, but Kyler needed a little help. He was hoping for another brother because his big sister is too bossy for him :)

For once on Halloween the kids got to show off their costumes without having to wear their winter coats.

A day in the life of a firefighter

Kaden and his preschool class got to visit a fire station on Monday. They all had a lot of fun and really enjoyed learning that the firemen are a lot like us! They eat pizza, they share bedrooms and their fire house even has a bathroom!!

Fireman Olsen showed them all around the fire station, how they slide down the pole when they get a call, everything about the fire truck and all the tools and gadgets on board. He let the kids walk through the fire truck and see what the inside looks like. Most important of all he showed the class what a fireman looks like in uniform so the kids won't be scared if they ever need a fireman's help.

A case of mistaken identity
